About Us

Hawai’i & Pacific Island PTI

LDAH is the Parent Training & Information Center (PTI) for the state of Hawaii and the Pacific Island Regions of American Samoa, Guam, the Republic of Palau, the Republic of the Marshall Islands, the Federated States of Micronesia and the Commonwealth of the Northern Mariana Islands. As a PTI, LDAH and its partners provide information and referral, mentoring and advocacy, and education and training to parents and families members of children with disabilities and the professionals who serve them. Our goal is to ensure all children with disabilities receive a proper public education.

School Readiness Project (SRP)

SRP provides services for families on O`ahu and Hawaii Island. We offer developmental, social-emotional, hearing, vision and autism screenings of children ages two through five. For children who do not pass their screening, we offer case management to parents/family members to navigate resources and support. Training on early childhood health and developmental milestones is available for all parents. We work to help families build a medical home and support pediatricians to better meet the needs of each child.  Our Mobile Screening Unit assist us to reach those children and their families with travel challenges.
